Alaska and Hawaii

We can ship small items via parcel service (UPS and FedEx) to Alaska and Hawaii, but these orders may not be eligible for free shipping and require an individual quote. If you order over the phone, you will be notified of the extra shipping before you place your order. If you order online, we will contact you shortly after your order is placed with the additional shipping charges (before the item is shipped).

International Orders

We do not ship internationally however we will ship to your desired freight forwarder in the contiguous 48 states.

How We Handle Shipping

Pacific Teak Millworks reserves the right to choose delivery type (parcel or freight), carrier, and service level of each shipment.  UPS and FedEx are our (parcel) carriers for smaller items, however larger orders may be shipped via (LTL) freight.  

LTL Freight Shipping

Freight delivery is different than parcel shipping, and it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you before delivery.  We'll specify the process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email, and provide you with the carrier and shipment information.  We will provide you an estimated date, based on the estimate the delivery company provides us, but we can’t guarantee or arrange for delivery on a certain day.  That being said, we’re happy to help in the event that there's an issue with your delivery.

Important Notes:

• Most freight orders ship on a pallet.
• Once a shipment is in the hands of the delivery company, we can't change shipping addresses.
• Depending on the carrier, you may be required to be home and provide your signature at the time of delivery.
• Freight shipments include curb-side delivery and lift gate service.  You are responsible for moving your shipment up the driveway and into your home or backyard.
• While a few carriers may call you to schedule an exact delivery window or appointment, most will only provide a tracking number and an estimated delivery date. We encourage you to call the carrier’s local delivery hub and request an update on your delivery or answer any questions you may have.
• If the shipping company calls to set up your exact delivery window, they will use the main contact number you provided at the time of checkout. That's why it's crucial for you to enter the best phone number to reach you at when you place your order.
• It is critical to Inspect your shipment for any missing or damaged items.  If any items are missing or damaged, take photos of the pallet, and be sure to note losses or damage on any signature documents (if applicable) and contact us immediately at 1-949-365-6513. You have 5 calendar days from the date of delivery to report any damaged items to us.

Special Considerations

If special considerations are required for curb-side delivery (ex: areas not accessible by traditional freight carrier such as islands (ex: Martha's Vineyard), rooftop condo, etc.), these special considerations will incur an additional fee and are not included in standard shipping.

Shipping to Remote Areas

Be aware that remote or hard-to-reach areas may incur additional shipping fees.  If you anticipate that a shipping company will have issues reaching your residence, it's your responsibility to inform us of those issues at the time of purchase. Such problems include but are not limited to: narrow or winding roads, dirt or gravel roads, and vacant establishments. Pacific Teak Millworks is not responsible for shipping costs on merchandise not delivered because of a shipping company's inability to reach a particular location.

Incorrect Addresses

If any item is shipped and returned because it's not deliverable on account of an incorrect address, you'll be responsible for shipping both ways.
